It’s our favorite time of year! Bloom :: An Event for New & Expecting Moms happens on April 28, 2019 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at ACH Child and Family Services. This is an event for expectant moms and moms who are currently parenting children two years and under. (Foster and adoptive moms are welcome, too!) The afternoon will focus on information, resources, products, and more that target the pregnancy and delivery stages of parenting through the first two years. This event will provide a few hours of pampering, light snacks, educational resources, giveaways and swag, shopping, and connecting moms and families with relevant local resources for this season of life.

Several new features will be present at Bloom this year. One of which is our new location and hosting sponsor: ACH Child and Family Services! ACH Child and Family Services is dedicated to protecting children and preserving families. Abuse and neglect are significant problems in local communities, with Tarrant County suffering from the fourth highest number of abused children of any county in Texas. With more than a century of experience, ACH, a Fort Worth-based nonprofit agency, brings needed resources and skills to children and families struggling with life’s challenges. Some of its programs keep children and families together while others provide a healing home for children who can’t live with their families. ACH’s vision is for families to thrive and children to experience safety, hope, and love.
What to Expect
Fort Worth Moms Blog readers will take over the ENTIRE Jo & Holt Hickman Center at ACH Child and Family Services. Attendees will enjoy numerous local vendors, who provide services and products that directly impact this stage of life. No Fort Worth Moms Blog event would be complete without SWAG and GIVEAWAYS! Ohhhh, and this event will have the best line-up to date! In fact, we’re over the moon to announce the option for VIP swag bags. These bags are filled with all the goodies from the general swag bag, but they they also include several full-sized special items. There are only 25 VIP swag bags up for grabs, so be sure to get that ticket!
Also, Milk + Honey Spa is offering 22 lucky ladies a complimentary 15-minute massage (pre-natal too!). These will be first come, first serve on the day of the event.
During the event, attendees will choose THREE workshops to attend. Attendees will pre-select three workshops during the registration process. IMPORTANT: If you do not select your workshop preferences when you purchase your tickets, your workshops will be assigned to you. There will be a limit on how many people can attend each workshop based on capacity issues.
Workshops will focus on pregnancy and delivery topics, in addition to topics on postpartum care and parenting through age two. The event schedule is:
- 1:30 — Registration opens.
- 2:10 — Welcome assembly.
- 2:30–4:00 — Workshops.
- 4:45— Giveaway winners & closing assembly.
During the break times between activities, several local vendors will be on site with products and services designed to encourage and support women during this stage of motherhood.

Enjoy an afternoon nibbling on goodies, sorting through swag, winning giveaways, learning, shopping, and having fun. (Breastfeeding little ones are welcome!)

VIP Swag Admission tickets ($40, plus fees) get you a VIP swag bag stuffed with products featured in the general swag bags plus specialty full-sized products, 10 giveaway entries, and entrance into the entire event.
