During 2018, the Fort Worth Moms Blog (FWMB) celebrated five years. Part of that celebration focuses on where we started and where we want to grow. Now at 46 team members, it is oh-so exciting to think about what the future holds!

On November 3, the FWMB team came together for a time of games, gabbing, and growing! We are committed to learning and improving so that we can serve mamas all over Tarrant County. On the agenda were sessions taught by our executive team. Our team attended workshops ranging in topic from writing education to photo tips to building community. At the heart of all of this is a commitment to grown stronger and smarter so that we can build community among local moms and champion motherhood in North Texas.

During our meeting, we also announced the most popular blog post for quarter three of this year. Drum roll, please . . . “How to Be the Best Elementary School Mom Ever” written by Chalna.

And, of course, no FWMB meeting is complete without FOOD — because if you are going to change the world, you need to eat! Rusty Taco provided our team a delicious buffet with all the fixings for a fantastic street taco. Beef, chicken, corn and flour tortillas, black beans, pico, cheese, sour cream, guac, all kinds of salsas, yummy lime rice, and the most delicious corn concoction with cheese! Rusty Taco proclaims, “Tacos are the most important meal of the day!” We agree and will be headed back for more. It’s a great family-friendly dinner option. Located all across the DFW area, you are sure to find one near you!

All of this took place at the brand new building for TCIDA on Rosedale. (Have you seen it? It’s so gorgeous.) Just so you know: Its meeting areas, including conference rooms, are available for rent for small gatherings and meeting space.

So, here’s to 2019 and the ways we can grow together!
