We celebrated our fifth birthday with 100 FWMB friends and fans at the Birthday Bash at the BRIT on June 23, 2018. Now you can see all the pics (all 145 of them) from the big day — and get ideas for your next celebration.
Let’s talk about the location. The Botanical Research Institute of Texas — or BRIT as it’s known around here — was the hosting site for our party. Now you may know the BRIT offers lots of educational opportunities for your kiddos year round. From story times to outdoor tours, and from Prairie Days to camps, there is literally something going on every week for families at BRIT. But did you know that BRIT hosts birthday parties, showers, and receptions/events? Yes, that’s right; your little nature lover can celebrate his or her big day on site at the (indoor!) BRIT. Bella the Begonia and Carlos the Cactus are ready to celebrate your preschooler’s birthday! Parties include story time activities like creating art from nature or planting a flower to take home and watch it grow. Those who attended the Birthday Bash at the BRIT got to experience the story time and craft area.
The vendor hall and treat stations were also so much fun! (Comment below naming your child’s favorite vendor of the day!)
- BRIT — a spot to learn all about what it means to host your birthday party at the BRIT, plus other camps and family activities throughout the year.
- Cook Children’s — lots of spinning going on . . . spin the wheel for prizes and giveaways!
- FWMB — been thinking about a tattoo? There were plenty of temporary ones to choose from!
- Neighbor Groups — fun creations made at the play dough hub.
- Party in the Front Yard — someone won a FREE sign package.
- Rogue Brick Builders Lounge — the LEGO® station lured us all in.
- Royally Fun Parties — totally danced and sang all morning with princesses.
- Pump It Up — might have played dozens of games of plinko. Actually, we did.
- Vertical Chiropractic — won ALL the carnival-style games.
All Birthday Bash at the BRIT attendees were TREATED by yummy birthday goodies from That Cake Place, Savor Patisserie, Loft22 Cakes, and Tiff’s Treats with drinks provided by BODYARMOR.
Of course, no birthday party is complete without party favors! The party favor swag bag for the kiddos was a huge hit. They took home prizes from Water Wipes, BRIT, Rise Buddy, Kwik Stix, Pump It Up, Legacy Dental, Cook Children’s, and Vertical Chiropractic.
