Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Tarrant County

Fort Worth Area Kid-Friendly Restaurants

Want to go out to eat? Dread taking the kids with you? Our friends at Legacy Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry helped us answer the dinner dilemma by sponsoring the guide to Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Tarrant County.

What makes a restaurant kid-friendly? We considered several aspects: diaper changing stations, clean restrooms, friendly staff, several options on the kids’ menu, activities for kids (beyond crayons and paper), a fun atmosphere, and/or a welcoming environment. While not all restaurants included in this list check each and every one of the kid-friendly boxes, they do offer a kid-friendly experience that is above par, meeting at least three of the standards listed above.

  1. Was this list assembled based on sponsors or truley “kid friendly” restaurants? Some of these can be difficult for kiddos under 6.

    • Hi there FTW momma — yes, these are organic entries based on our vetting process as explained in our intro. The restaurants featured in this guide are not sponsors of the guide. There are numerous options for younger kiddos — and each kiddo has different tastes. My eldest hates breads and cakes but loves smoked salmon and blue cheese. We created this list based on various parameters, knowing that parents need ideas for little ones, picky eaters, adventurous eaters, and kids of all ages, not just six and under. We hope you can find new favorite places even in new parts of town to try with your family!
