Guide to Area Farmers Markets

0

Who doesn’t love a good farmers market? Fresh produce, local vendors, activities for the kids — all available in a community near you. Tarrant County hosts numerous farmers markets across the area; some are seasonal, and others stay open all year round! Some take place outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine. Others operate indoors (hello, air conditioning). Every one is a great way for your family to support local, enjoy fresh produce, and have fun!

Fort Worth Moms Blog has produced (ha!) a list of farmers markets in Tarrant County. If you know of other farmers markets nearby, please let us know so we can include them. Email [email protected].

The farmers markets listed in this section are pop-up style community events. Most have seasonal dates and hours. Vendors set up booths and tables to sell their goods. Technology has come a long way, allowing many of the vendors to accept credit cards, but I would recommend bringing cash just in case. Also, don’t forget to follow your preferred farmers market on social media. This will keep you up-to-date on special events or themes for each weekend and inform you of any weather delays or cancellations.
