AquaKids Swim School

AquaKids is a year-round, learn-to-swim school in Flower Mound & Keller, Texas. It specializes in teaching kids from six months through 12 years how to swim. It also hosts private birthday parties and have a competitive swim team. Spring registration opened February 1, summer registration opens March 6, and fall registration opens July 5. Aquatics Swimming Lessons

The City of Fort Worth, managed by the Fort Worth Athletics Department, offers swim lessons. These lessons for school-aged children will be offered throughout the summer at Marine Park Aquatics Center and Forest Park Pool. For additional information, contact the Fort Worth Athletics Department at 817-392-7691.

Aqua-tots offers swim programs to help children of all ages and abilities learn how to swim safely and develop a life-long love of swimming. With locations is Flower Mound, Fort Worth, Mansfield, and North Richland Hills, you are sure to be able to find a school close to you. 

Burleson Recreation Center

The Burleson Recreation Center offers swim lessons for ages six months – adult. Group and private lessons are available on Saturday mornings. Participants will learn survival methods such as floating and bobbing as well as swimming fundamentals and stroke development. Register at least three days prior to beginning of swim session.

Emler Swim School of Fort Worth

Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition

The Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition aims to prevent drownings in Tarrant County. Texas currently leads the nation in drownings, and Tarrant County is one of the main contributors. The Coalition works with experts, stakeholders, and concerned citizens to host four annual summer events that improve swimming skills and educate kids and adults on how to be safer in and around the water. Fort Worth Family Swim School

A family-owned business, Fort Worth Family Swim School (FWFSS) offers a variety of classes for ages three months to adult. Children with special needs can attend classes with trained staff who provide individualized care and instruction.  Visit the website for registration beginning in April.

Fish and Fins Swimming School

Katelyn Green is certified by the American Red Cross and emphasizes water safety and survival education — even for infants. While private lessons are the bulk of her business, Mommy-and-me programs and group sessions are available too. With reasonable pricing and quality, one-on-one instruction, Fish & Fins is certainly worth a look. Registration begins in May.

Frog Swim Camp

From beginner instruction (starting at potty trained/age three) to advanced and competitive training, the TCU Swimming Camps utilize the strength of its athletic departments and facilities to provide state-of-the-art swimming and safety education. These are two week intensive sessions and registration information available on its website.

Mr. Bryan's Swim School

Mr. Bryan has more than 40 years of experience teaching swimming to children and adults of all ages and all abilities. Lessons are held in his backyard pool from April to August. Each session includes nine, 30-minute lessons with two students in the water per lesson. Please see website for swim lesson schedule. Registrations open February 26 at 9:00 a.m. via phone calls (817-583-6312). If not able to register on the 26, please call for remaining availability.

Safe Splash Swim School

The Fort Worth Swim School

With multiple locations in Fort Worth and other Tarrant County cities, the YMCA holds swim classes for children beginning at age six months through 18 years as well as classes and water aerobics for adults. The YMCA Aquatics program focuses on personal safety, personal growth, water sports & games, rescue, and stroke development.
