Pump It Up (Locations in Fort Worth and Arlington) — Offering toddler and open jump times, this place is sure to wear out even the most active kiddos. Bonus: Babies and parents are free!

Tarrant County is full of indoor trampoline parks. They all offer playtimes and events for all ages, and are great for a party! Find the one closest to you and start jumping. Flight Deck Trampoline Park (locations in Fort Worth and Arlington), Altitude Trampoline Park (Fort Worth and Grapevine), Jumpstreet Indoor Trampoline Park (Colleyville), Rebounderz (Hurst), and Urban Air Trampoline Park (Southlake and Mansfield).

The Little Gym (Burleson, Fort Worth, Arlington, Southlake) — Sign up your kiddos for a class or take advantage of the Parent Survival night.

Rollerland West (Fort Worth) — Need a blast from the past? Check out Fort Worth’s rollerskating rink.  Check website for open skate times or to book your next party.

Cowtown Bowling Palace (Fort Worth) — Revisit your own childhood at the bowling alley. This is a great place for family bowling, parties, or gatherings.

Emler Swim School (Fort Worth, Southlake, Flower Mound) — No better way to beat the summer heat than to take swimming lessons in an indoor pool. Also, this is a great party option for a summer get-together.

Imaginative Play

Celebration Event and Party Center (Keller) — The possibilities are endless at Celebration in Keller. Open play is held on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for your littles to enjoy eight kid-size playhouses, bounce house, mini train, and more.

The Happy Lark (Fort Worth) — Enjoy a modern children’s shop and indoor playspace all while sipping on your complimentary coffee.

Ephemera (Fort Worth) — Want to build a terrarium? Then visit this cute shop on W. Magnolia. They can comfortably accommodate a couple kids at a time to build their own terrariums together.

Young Chef’s Academy (Fort Worth) — Do you have a kid who loves to cook? Sign up for a camp, a class, host a birthday party, or check out one of its special events.

Churches

Milestone Church (Keller) — Designed for kids 10 and under, Milestone provides a fun, safe place for kids to play indoors. Check its website for details as playtimes can change. FREE.

Whites Chapel UMC Wesley Indoor Playground (Southlake) — This indoor playground is for kiddos 11 and under and offers lots of times throughout the week to play. Check the website as times are subject to change. FREE.

Playscape at The Hills Church of Christ (North Richland Hills) — This indoor, multi-level playground offers two areas of play for preschool and elementary-aged children. Check website for times and details. FREE.

Paradise Pond at First Baptist (Grapevine) — Paradise Pond is an indoor play place designed for children two years old to 6th grade and includes 10 different stations where the children can play. Babies and one-year-olds are welcome, but parents must supervise closely. Check website for full rules and times. $1.00 per person.

Entertainment/Theaters/Movies

Harkins Theaters  (Southlake) — Sign up for the summer movie fun! Ten movies over 10 weeks for just $1.00 per movie and a 9:45 a.m. showtime.

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse (Fort Worth, Lewisville, Mansfield) — Summer movie clubhouse offers 10 movies for $5.00 when you sign up in advance or $1.00 per movie. Movies and showtimes vary by location.

Artisan Theater (Hurst) — Enjoy high-quality, family-friendly entertainment on stage that warms the heart, uplifts the spirit, and tells worthy stories all summer long.

Educational 

Fort Worth Public Libraries — With locations all across Tarrant County, you are sure to find one close to you. Most locations offer Story Times and Teen Scenes that accommodate kids of all ages. Check out your local library’s website for more details.

Monkey and Dog Books (Fort Worth) — This super cute local bookstore offers free story times on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 for all ages. They will read as long as the crowd allows.
