Camp BRIT
Dates: June 13 – July 14
Is your child adventurous by nature? Camp BRIT is the summer experience that takes your child’s brain outdoors for fun and stimulating learning. Campers will work and play alongside BRIT researchers and educators to investigate the natural world around them in BRIT’s unique prairie habitat and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.
Camp Langston
Dates: July 3 – August 13
Fun, friends, and new adventures since 1951! Camp Langston is a traditional children’s summer camp for boys and girls ages five to 15. From horseback riding and archery, to paintball and the lakefront rope swing, there is always a lot to do including drama, dance, sports, swimming (pool and lake), fishing, hiking, boating, tubing, and even a visit to the friendly camp ghost, Jeff, once a week. Once the sun goes down, the evening programs take place and include traditional sing-a-long campfires, play-day rodeo, and some pretty fun camp-wide games.
Kidventure
Dates: June – July 29, August 1 – 19
In the 22nd season of Kidventure Day Camp, it is boldly taking the summer by storm, conquering the mundane, and defeating the ordinary. The camp theme, called Summer Quest 2016, is its own Comic Book come to life for ages 3-12. Each week provides its superheroes with a new and unique adventure. Never before has a Kidventure camp been designed for this much fun and more focused on bringing out the best character in each camper. Heroes aren’t born, they’re made . . . at Kidventure.
The Squirrel’s Run Early Childhood Enrichment Program
Dates and times: June 6 – June 10, 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.; June 13 – June 17, 2016 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Do you want your young child to have a better connection to the farm-to-table movement in a fun and dynamic outdoor learning environment? The Squirrel’s Run – Taking Your Seedling to Sustainability Summer Camp is the perfect place to introduce and cultivate a love for gardening and animal husbandry in an urban environment. The camp focuses on herb and vegetable gardening, water cycles, soil enrichment, and working alongside chickens, ducks, a miniature horse, and a much loved miniature donkey! Campers will take home daily projects that align with camp activities to further support sustainability efforts in your own home!
Sports Broadcasting Camp
Dates: June 20 – 24

TCU Extended Education Summer Camps
Dates: June 13 – August 12
Spend the summer the Horned Frog way! TCU Summer Camps are full of fun and learning for entering grades 1-12. Minecraft, LEGOs, 3D animation, CSI forensics, photography, SAT/ACT prep, and more! Full and half-day weeklong programs available. Extended coverage options available for families needing to drop off early or pick up late. Open House: Saturday, April 23, 2016, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Rees-Jones Hall.
Van Grow Art Studio Summer Camps
Dates: June, July, August
Van Grow Summer 2016 is all about celebrating the creative spirit! It has something for everyone and all ages. Always the highlight of the summer are the weekly workshops; this year Van Grow has a “best of” all the most successful classes in one summer.
