UATP_ Logo w_Oval VetricalNothing like an afternoon out with my eldest daughter.ย Since the arrival of her baby sister, alone time with just mom happens less and less. So it was an extra special treat — for her and me — to spend an entire afternoon hanging out and having fun.

The outing started off as all special outings should: Eating ice cream. Enough said.

We decidedย to jump our cares away at Urban Air Trampoline Park.ย This was not only our first time to Urban Air, but it was also our first time to any trampoline park. Y’all — it’s a lot of fun and a heck of a good workout. (Which totally equals out the ice cream consumption.)

After registering, signing a safety waiver, we entered the trampoline park. My daughter thought she entered a playground haven. If only I could describe the wonder in her eyes. It was so fun to see.

The fun didn’t stop there. Faster than lightning the shoes were in the cubby, and off we went!

trampolines for kidsFirst stop: The Foam Pit! Who can resist? (Yes, even I jumped in a time or two. However, I quickly realized it is much easier for a four year old to climb out than a thirty-something mama.) My little darling jumped in and climbed out . . . jumped in and climbed out . . . jumped in and climbed out.

Second stop: Kids’ Area (ages 7 and under). This is the perfect roomy spot for little ones to run and jump and get out that energy! No children over seven are allowed in so it keeps the littles, who may not have the best balance or jumping skills, from getting injured or scared. Perfect!

Third stop: Slam Dunk Track. Older kids will think this attraction is a dream. You can run on a trampoline track to jump for a slam dunk on a basketball goal. While my daughter had zero idea about this, she ran up and down that track, asking me to time her. At the time we were there, no big kids were using that station, so she had a field day.

And then it was time to go! That’s right, Urban Air Trampoline Park offers so much fun, we were not able to try it all out. In addition to the stations mentioned above, Urban Air guests can try a larger wall-to-wall trampoline arena, trampoline dodgeball court, and tumble track — plus some fun plus the funย Warrior Attractions, like the Ninjaย Warrior obstacle course andย Warriorย Battle Beam.

If you’re looking for an easy-on-you and perfect spot for a birthday party for those energetic kiddos, I think we’ve found the spot. Urban Air offers birthday party packages. It also allows groups, businesses, and sports teams to rent the facility for private parties and events.

Urban Air is open seven days per week and offers many special activities during the week:

  • Open jump is for everyone!
  • Neon Night held every other Friday (ages 9-12) and Saturday (ages 13+).
  • Family Night after 5:00 p.m. every Thursday. The cost is $35 for five 1-hour passes, waters, and a one large pizza.
  • AIR456 is for kids ages 9-12 and happens every other Friday night.
  • Pre-school Jump (ages 5 and under) have the entire park to themselves on select weekday mornings.
  • Fitness classes for adults!
  • Dodgeball Nightย every Wednesday night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
  • Teen Night on Saturday evenings from 9:00 – 11:00.

As you can imagine — and is a perk in and of itself — all that jumping and laughing and running made for an easy bedtime. Goodbye, pre-school energy. Hello, rest and relaxation!
