What’s on YOUR Christmas Wish List?

christmas presentChristmas is right around the corner, and as mom’s we start our list making early for everyone else. As with most things, we put our own wishes on the bottom of those lists. I can’t tell you how many times Christmas has rolled around and people start asking what I would like and I have no idea. I haven’t given it a single thought.

This year will be different! A few weeks ago, I started making a list on my phone and have now turned that into an Amazon Wish List. So, take notes family and friends – here is my Christmas wish list.

Yeti Tumbler – I know this is all the rage right now, and to be quite honest, I would never spend this much money on a tumbler. Hence the reason it is going on my gift list. With that said, I have not met a single person who does not scream its praises. A cup that will keep my coffee hot and my Diet Dr. Pepper cold all day? Sign me up!

Tervis These things are indestructible. With a little one running around, glasses get knocked over all the time. These cups will stand the test of time (and toddler). We currently use these cups but are always looking to add to the collection. Maybe when our son is in college, we can use real glass again. (P.S. We are getting our very own Tervis Store right in downtown Fort Worth. Coming in December.)

Weekday at Ikea Do you share my love of Ikea? There are few things I enjoy more than perusing the aisles of Ikea on a weekDAY. Yes, you read that correctly. It must be a weekday or the feeling is not the same. This gift request involves a gift card and some babysitting. Fellow Ikea lovers, you will be thrilled to know that Ikea is coming to Grand Prairie. They have started building on I-20 near the Grand Prairie Outlet malls. Projected opening is Fall 2017.

Wristlet Do you switch purses as much as I do? From diaper bag to work bag to pretty purse, there have been many times that I have left my important credit cards behind. I started using a wristlet for my wallet, and it has made the world of difference. I just keep my important cards in there and make sure it gets transferred from purse to purse. I have had a Coach one for a long time, and it is starting to show some wear so it’s time for an update.

Instapot I have been hearing about these for a while and upon reading the description, I was sold. This little gem is a 7-in-1 multi-functional cooker — pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, saute/browning, yogurt maker, steamer, and warmer. The possibilities are endless. To get started ask for a recipe book specifically for pressure cooking. Dinner made easy . . . yes, please!

The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Dinnertime Speaking of cooking, Ree Drummond (aka The Pioneer Woman) has the best cookbooks IMO. I love the pictures, instructions, and taste of almost all her recipes. I have all of them and would love to add her newest one to my collection. She has also created a line of products that are sold at Walmart. I would love to update my dishes with a set of these and my 10-year-old wedding cookware could use some sprucing up as well.

TOMS shoes These are hands down the best Texas winter shoes. Most of the time it isn’t cold enough for big heavy boots, but a little too chilly for flip flops. I have found TOMS to be the perfect balance. I am in desperate need for a new pair for the upcoming winter months. Just a word of warning. I have ordered TOMS from several online sites, and the sizes are never the same. I have the best luck ordering straight from the TOMS website or going to a retail store. I have my eyes on these this year.

What do you have on your Christmas list?

  1. The Tervis store in Downtown Fort Worth was open before Thanksgiving. We popped in the store to shop before the Parade of Lights at Sundance Square.
