What’s a purse? These days it’s a diaper bag all the way! Epi-pen because I’ve been newly inducted into allergic reactions. Cloth diapers, wipes for days, teethers, pen and paper for my 3-year-old to doodle, a magic wand (also my 3-year-old’s), and a scarf because I can’t leave home without one. Hopefully my glasses are in there too because I’ve lost them again!
Besides all of our family being here, we love the small town, big city feel. There is a also a great arts community and wonderful museums. I feel like it’s a great place to raise a family without the hustle and bustle of big city life.
Love! I seriously did not anticipate how much my life would change for the better and how much I would love my children. My heart just aches thinking about it! It’s the greatest blessing to have the privilege to love those two sweet girls. Just watching them grow and discover is beyond amazing.
I have the hardest time taking care of myself and finding time for myself. I finally realized that I was only the best mom and wife I could be if I was feeling my best. My new goal now that the baby is getting older is to carve out that time. It makes all the difference.
I’ve experienced a few major setbacks in my life that have led me where I am today, which is my life as a wife, mom, and business owner . . . and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hope other women, but especially my daughters, see that you need to be open to the unexpected and with perseverance, staying true to yourself, and big dreams, you can make anything happen.
