Disclaimer :: Neiman Marcus sponsored the January 2017 Fort Worth Moms Blog staff meeting; it is our pleasure to return the favor by highlighting its new store, new location, and heaps of new amenities for Tarrant County shoppers.
It’s a catch phrase in the beauty and fashion industry to find “the new you” through wardrobe and cosmetic updates. I mean, we all get in our ruts, right? As time passes, our interest evolve along with our body shapes (amen?), making a makeover just the touch up we need now and again.
This is exactly what happened to the dearly beloved Fort Worth Neiman Marcus store. Previously located at Ridgmar Mall, the newly constructed store finds its home in the up and coming Shops at Clearfork as the anchor retailer. Before you huff and puff about saying goodbye to the Zodiac memories and the nostalgia of the former Neiman Marcus locale, know that everything that made Neiman Marcus a Fort Worth institution and icon still exists in the new digs — and just may be even better.
If Neiman Marcus is not one of your regular shopping stops, I so encourage to drop by the new store anyway. It is worth seeing with your own eyes. And Neiman Marcus really is part of the fabric of Cowtown life and culture. The new facility reflects that in so many ways. In addition to including the local landscape into the store design, this Neiman Marcus is tricked out with amazing technology everywhere you turn. It’s a shopping experience unlike anything I’ve encountered! No lie!
For instance . . . .
- the ChargeItSpot station — where you can securely charge your phone!
- Memory Mirrors — mirrors that record your 360 view when trying on outfits, etc. The recorded video can be sent to your phone!
- Memory Makeover Mirrors — mirrors that record your cosmetic application, etc., and send the link to your phone so that you can have the makeup tutorial at your fingertips anytime you need it, including a listing of products used.
- Sunglass Mirror — recording your head left to right so that you can see what your shades looks like from the side and front views.
- CUSP — an Alert Tech fitting room technology option.
- Rockbot — an app that allows you to control the music played in your dressing room.
- Digital directories located throughout the store.
The list of amenities — exactly the type of service Neiman Marcus is all about — continue with valet parking, complimentary expert stylists and personal shoppers, private spa rooms (sign me up!), complimentary skincare consultations and makeup applications, expert alterations, gift wrapping, same day delivery, online order and store pick up, and the bridal registry . . . . you know, just to name a few. And what is our favorite two amenities, you ask? Oh, the private baby changing room located outside of the restrooms, making it accessible for mom, dad, aunt, nanny, grandma! YAY! No more lugging baby into the ladies room! Our second favorite is the breastfeeding spot located in a cozy room. High five, Neimans.
Of course, the store carries many luxury brands, bringing those couture and daily wear labels to Tarrant County. The new location now boasts some new-to-Neiman Marcus vendors. Ready for the list? And your heart to have palpitations? Move over, Hollywood; here comes Cowtown.

The menu also includes Go Figure Cuisine items for healthy eating and a children’s menu! And let’s not forget about the full-service bar with an excellent selection of wine, beer, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. The hours are Monday – Saturday 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Honestly, we could go on and on because the Neiman Marcus at the Shops at Clearfork is something special. From the design elements of the building itself thanks to Alamo Architects and Callison RTKL to the original art placed just right throughout the store and even the landscaping by J. Robert Anderson Landscape Architecture, all of the details speak to the mission of Neiman Marcus — beauty, service, quality, and fashion. I’m especially excited and thankful this Neiman Marcus calls Fort Worth home.
During the Grand Opening of Neiman Marcus in the Shops at Clearfork, we recorded EIGHT videos all throughout the store. You can check out each clip on the FWMB YouTube channel. Come take a tour of the new store!
