Yay for the Mom & Me Create Date happening on August 1, 2016 at the wonderful, really-is-our-favorite Van Grow Art Studio for Kids. The Fort Worth Moms Blog hosted a Mom & Me Create Date last year. It was so.much.fun, we are doing it again! This time, you can choose from two time slots for this event (or you COULD attend both): 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and/or (because we’d love to see twice) 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
Van Grow: Art Studio for Kids offers weekly fine art classes for ages 2-17. The weekly after-school art program and Saturday workshops focus on creative idea development. The instructors teach drawing, art history, and introduce students to all artistic mediums. The weekly preschool program focuses on line-by-line drawing instruction (to help define fine motor skills) and fun projects using paint, clay, and collage. Van Grow also offers “Parent and Me” classes so that loved ones can experience being creative together. During school holidays and the summer, kiddos can attend day camps. Each day is filled with fine art and “FUN art” activities based on a central theme. It is an action packed day full of creative projects and free time in the studio. Birthday parties are always a winner too as well as the Paint Your Own Pottery Studio. And, of course, you can book Van Grow for a moms’ night out party!
Attendees will enjoy:
- A guided craft time led by the Van Grow staff. When purchasing your ticket, you will select the age range(s) of your children so that we can prepare age-appropriate activities.
- Yummy snacks!
- And no FWMB event is complete without swag bag (for kiddos), and giveaways — of course!
Because space is limited, every person attending event, including non-participating infants and/or toddlers, must purchase a ticket. Strict capacity issues warrant this. Also, wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Let’s not hamper the creative spirit with worries about spills and splatters, y’all.
